R7 QUEEN’S ROAD CENTRAL HANDICAP

Happy Valley (M22) - Wednesday, 21 November 2018

22:20 HK TIME

summary

There looks to be some horses at very backable prices in this event going off early markets. The last start win of NORDIC WARRIOR was sound but the move ups to a mile looks a real positive for this progressive galloper. He is competitively weighted and I believe that he can win again. NITRO EXPRESS has been racing well all season and although he will settle back in the field, there should be a genuine enough tempo set in this event. He should be powering home and can figure in the finish. MR SO AND SO is ready to win now at his fourth start of the preparation and stepping up to the mile. That said carrying top-weight and conceding kilograms to all others, with the switch to Happy Valley, won’t make it easy. RACING LUCK was a touch unlucky last time and warrants respect, although he is short in the market whereas MY ALLY did a lot of work in that race and looks under bet here.

speed

MULTIGOGO can set at least a GOOD speed here from LUCKY GIRL. PHANTOM FALCON and MY ALLY are both drawn wide, but might both be asked to take up positions close to the lead as well. NORDIC WARRIOR maps to get a perfect run behind these horses.
