ROMAN ODYSSEY has proven himself consistent in Class 4 and has been placed at his last three starts since downgrading. Arguably, he gets his chance to win and he is a deserved favourite. However, he might come up too short as well and it is a contest where there are other options at decent prices. CHEER WIN was excellent in defeat on the all-weather at his last outing and I like the booking of de Sousa coupled with the blinkers being re-applied. He is shaping as a sound each-way play. Flying Force is another that rated quite well when defeating subsequent winner Powermax, although, once again, he will need some luck in running with the rail in the C+3 position given he will settle back in the field during the run. APPLAUSE can figure in the finish as well but he too gets back as he lacks tactical speed.
