This is a good race and my top three in the ratings should all run well. BIGWOOD is a last start winner and he swooped to do the job with style over the Sha Tin mile at his last outing. I was impressed by that and the move up to 1,800m looks a positive for him. Hopefully Bigwood can settle closer in the running, his main concern is how he deals with Happy Valley. However, it is a competitive race. NAMJONG PLUS rated well when winning over the course and distance at his last outing and that suggested his winning ways are far from over. The issue for him is the map and where he might find himself during the run. Conversely DYNAMIC EAGLE will be dangerous in this one if he is allowed to dictate the pace, as handing up the lead at his last run proved costly. I can see him being rated well by Silvestre de Sousa. BRAVE LEGEND will be hoping for speed, but even though that’s unlikely he should be working home well again. I’m happy to recommend small outlays on Bigwood and Dynamic Eagle, watch the price of Namjong Plus closely, as he might be worth outlaying on.
