summary

This race looks like it could be dominated by BLITZING as he did last start. He takes a rise in class, but a drop in weight, which again is not a bad combination of factors. He maps to lead as he likes and I’ve been suitably impressed with his last two wins. If he brings his last start level to the races again then he’s clearly the horse to beat. PERFECT GLORY hasn’t done much wrong in two Hong Kong starts and is unlucky not to have been unbeaten here. I see no reason why he won’t be competitive again and he also maps to advantage. GAMECHANGERS was very good when he resumed running a final-600m of 34.88. With expected improvement he’s a great chance to hit the frame. GOOD BEAUTY comes out of the same event as Perfect Glory (race 125) and the former didn’t have all favours in the running. Douglas Whyte takes the saddle from Alvin Ng, which should be of benefit.

Karis Teetan and BLITZING should be able to control the pace of this race from the front. WONDERFUL JOURNEY with the apprentice could sit close by with LOCKHEED being asked to go forward.
