R1 L’OREAL PARIS HANDICAP

Sha Tin (M17) - Sunday, 4 November 2018

13:00 HK TIME

summary

Seven horses that competed in race 91 will race each other again in this race, except it’ll be over 1200m and around a bend. HAINAN STAR looks to be the hardest to beat following his second to STRATHALLAN. Then he sat off the speed and hit the line strongly and looks another promising Ricky Yiu-trained PPG. He gets a 1.5kg swing on Strathallan who can certainly run well again and is a horse that could sit on the pace. PERFECT MATCH can potentially lead and he was not far behind them last start. He too gets a small weight swing in his favour against Strathallan. QUADRUPLE DOUBLE disappointed last start, but he has impressed me in his work since. The apprentice Victor Wong will ride and his claim might really help his chances over an extra furlong.
