SEVENTY SEVENTY looks a deserved favourite in the fifth race. He sustained a good final-600m (33.80) last time that was the 10th-best of the meeting and the form looks sound enough with Complacency (third) scoring last weekend. Seventy Seventy has had experience at Happy Valley and maps to get the right run to perform well. Outside of him, the race is quite even. There might be a bit of value around KHAKI who worked home quite well at his first start for Tony Millard and this Australian import is very well handicapped now. He didn’t have a clean run early in his last start, so even though a natural back-runner a better getaway will obviously be of benefit. GOLDEN GLORY (SID) is poorly drawn, but should strip fitter and often runs okay when in space. He certainly looks to be too big in the market. He and THE CREATETH are not out of this based on their efforts behind Mr Picasso. I’m happy to have small outlays on Seventy Seventy and Golden Glory.
