One would assume that this race is going to be run relatively quickly here with YOUNG EMPIRE and potentially GRAND HARBOUR both going forward. UNIVERSAL GO GO went close on his first attempt over the course and distance last start and he maps to run well again. A fast mile might test his stamina though. MAGIC SUCCESS might be suited by the tempo here, the blinkers are re-applied and his first up run this season was sound. Where he’s likely to sit in the running is a fraction of a concern, especially if there’s an easing of the speed by the leaders down the back. The other galloper that could easily win this and looks over the odds is TEN FLAMES. He hasn’t hit the mark on either start this term, but if there’s any support in the market then it might be a good lead, as a number of his runs last term are god enough to beat this field. THE SYLPH rarely wins, but he has place claims again. All in all this isn’t a race I am overly keen on, but at the prices it’s might be worth very small outlays on Magic Success and Ten Flames.
