FAMOUS WARRIOR performed solidly enough first up this prep for Tony Cruz. If he can hold that form then the shape of this race should have him positioned as being the hardest to beat. HIGH VOLATILITY was excellent when he ran second last time after setting a genuine tempo. There’s a bit of pressure in this race with GO BEAUTY GO and BANK ON RED, but the draw should help Teetan give High Volatility his chance to win at decent odds. BIGWOOD finished well (race-best last-200m of 11.98) although well behind Famous Warrior (race 60) and gets a kilogram advantage against him today. KEEN VENTURE also wasn’t bad then and is an improver. RULE THEE takes a step up in distance, which should be suitable even though he has a poor record over the mile to date in Hong Kong; he won over the trip in Australia. At the prices High Volatility is a good each way play here.
