The wide gate isn’t ideal for JUST NOT LISTENING, but he jumped from 11 last start, absorbed a solid tempo and was quite strong through the line to win on this specialist surface. He looks capable of another win even though there looks to be more speed drawn inside of him today. GIDDY GIDDY has almost solely competed on this surface and he should get a nice run on the back of the speed from a low draw – he rates reasonably well for this. STRIKING MR C is another that can go forward and his recent trial indicated that he isn’t far from a win; in addition he may have improved since his seasonal return when he was overhauled late in the race. KIROV might be overs given he is well-exposed, however to me he might get the pace to suit today and therefore worth a small speculative outlay. It’s a tricky race though that I won’t recommend anything, as always though my prices are there to use.
