ELECTRIC LIGHTNING was a bet at his last outing and then he made the Sweet In Defeat file after performing well even given a rather poor ride everything considered. In addition we saw Full Of Chances come from that same race (25) and win last weekend. Electric Lightning is a winning chance along with IMPECCABLE FELLOW who probably just had the tempo against him a little at his last outing when he ran third to A Beautiful. The step up a mile should be suitable and he can map nicely on his first visit to the city course. The wide gate has to be a concern for BUNDLE OF ENERGY but he battled on okay last start, however the booking of Purton whilst a positive, has ensured an early quote that’s too short. A better case can be made for CAPTAIN BOSS who posted the 10th-best final-400m (23.17) when second over 1,200m at his seasonal return and to me he seems to be crying out for this distance.

I expect that the overall speed here will be at least GOOD. MEGATRON lead (and went too fast) last start and should be allowed to run similar to his “go forward” pattern in recent outings. WAH MAY BABY can roll forward with CURLING LUXURY with LITTLE ISLAND drawn to be positioned in the perfect spot behind this trio.
