This is a relatively even race but there might be one to play each way here, NICE KICK. His recent barrier trial was sound work and there were a number of runs mid-way through last term that were good enough (ratings wise) to win this event, namely when runner-up to Eighty Eighty. He might get the right run from a half-decent draw tonight, which will be very helpful. YOUNG EMPIRE looks the leader and he might prove hard to run down as overall there doesn’t appear to be much early pressure here. Much the same can be said for ALL GREAT FRIENDS who is one from one in this class and has the services of Zac Purton. DOLLAR REWARD should map nicely from barrier two and he also might be able to get into the finish if presented up to his best.
