Another all-weather race and SNOWHOOVES, who is a multiple winner over the course and distance, might be hard to beat here. His first-up run on the turf was sound and he is better on this surface, although the outside gate isn’t ideal given the pace drawn under him. HAPPY SOUND won well first-up over the straight 1000m and he too acts well on the AWT. He might be a touch of overs. MASSIVE MOVE has only had three starts in this grade for a win and he looks well-placed against this opposition. He’s drawn well and the claim with Matthew Poon riding is beneficial. CORRE RAPIDO is a maiden, but he handles this surface and can get himself into the finish off his low handicap mark. SEA PEARL put in the best-rated performance of this lot recently, but that was on the turf and he’s only had the one try on the dirt.
