summary

This is not a race I am too keen to outlay into with any significance. That said, there looks a little value around some of my selections at their rated prices. TURF SPRINT ran quite well in defeat on the opening day, he maps well here and has the cheek-pieces applied for the first time. He makes as much appeal as any. MOST BEAUTIFUL won over the course and distance last week and clocked the best final-400m (22.60) in the process, but the track played rather strange that evening and I question whether it will be the same again? Nonetheless, he is in form and on the face of things won quite well. KEEP MOVING didn’t move like anything special in his trial, but I wouldn’t read too much in to that and his form over the course and distance has been quite solid. CHEER WIN and GENERAL IRON are both capable of figuring in a tough race, with the former at a good price worthy of a small outlay on.

I’m a little uncertain about the overall pressure in this race, even though it’s over the short-course. KEEP MOVING and PRINCE HARMONY can go forward with MY BEGINNER’S LUCK holding-up from an inside barrier. E-SUPER could work across with TURF SPRINT drawn to get an economical run through out.
