I’m not that interested in investing anything of significance into this event, as it looks even-enough on paper, all of the runners are first-up over the mile with most of them coming off similar breaks and there doesn’t look like it will be a genuinely run race. It makes it a very “trappy” pricing affair. I liked the recent trial of ALL YOU KNOW, and he posted a deserved win over the course and distance towards the end of last season. The blinkers coming off might not be ideal but he can run well. CHARITY WINGS is another last start course and distance winner and on what he delivered then he must be a leading chance again. STARLIT KNIGHT finished second to Charity Wings (with SPEEDY WALLY fourth) and there was some merit in his effort given he was caught three-wide for the entire trip. However, all-in-all, this is a race best watched with the future in mind.
