summary
I like the booking of Zac Purton to ride SAUL’S SPECIAL here. This import ventures to Happy Valley for the second time but had clear excuses when last there after drawing wide and being taken back. In Race 738 he was on the wrong part of the Sha Tin straight track and that told late, however his form prior was good enough to win this from barrier 2 tonight. NICE FANDANGO is quick and from the “ace gate” will go forward and take some catching. Considering many of the “usual suspects” line-up here, WAYFOONG VINNIE has to be given a chance to figure in the finish once again. KEEP MOVING is more talented than most but being first up for seven months and taking in to account he is up a touch in bodyweight, he might just need the run. Then again, he might be good enough to win underdone. That all said, I’m happy to recommend backing Saul’s Special and Nice Fandango at their prices. The former is a little marginal on that score, but the latter looks rock solid.
